SCIENTIFIC ACTIVITY IN THE WORLD ON THE TOPIC OF “NAVY FORCES”

Abstract. The article is devoted to the results of a scientific study on the prospects of scientific research in the field of development of the defense-industrial complex (ODC) in the direction of “Navy Forces”, which was conducted at the Ukrainian Institute of Scientific and Technical Expertise and Information. The research was carried out on the basis of the analysis of publications in the international Web of Science database for the period 2019–2024, which do not contain information belonging to state secrets, using the method of scientometric analysis.
Based on the results of the study, the authors reached conclusions about the obtained promising scientific directions in the areas of research on the topic of “Navy Forces” and the possible consideration of the obtained results when developing and making relevant decisions regarding scientific and technological directions of research, technical reequipment, modernization and reform of the defense-industrial complex of Ukraine.
