METHODOLOGY FOR CREATING A WEB-BASED MULTIMEDIA ANTHOLOGY TO POPULARISE CONTEMPORARY POETRY

Abstract. In the context of digital culture and the growing demand for interactive content, the classical approach to the presentation of poetry is being transformed by multimedia formats. Traditional textual collections are losing their appeal among younger audiences, prompting the search for new forms of poetic communication. Web-based multimedia poetry platforms provide a synthesis of visual, auditory, and textual elements, enriching the reading experience and making poetry more accessible, engaging, and emotionally resonant.
The integration of audio, animation, and interactive UI design helps to establish a deeper sensory and interpretive connection between the user and the poetic text. This combination of media not only improves the expressiveness of individual poems, but also contributes to the dissemination of poetry through the digital environment.
The article presents a methodology for developing an interactive multimedia poetry collection using a WordPress-based platform. The proposed solution combines the principles of UX/UI design, digital typography, and culturally appropriate colour schemes to ensure both usability and symbolic unity. Particular attention is paid to the project’s artistic identity, which thematically forms a coherent aesthetic of the heritage of the ceramic capital of Ukraine.
The technical framework described in this article promotes efficiency, creative control, and scalability. It supports an integrated development approach, combining structured content modelling with iterative visual enhancement. The resulting platform serves not only as a collection of poetry, but also as a means for preserving cultural heritage, artistic innovation, and broader public engagement with poetry in the digital age.
