A BRIEF OVERVIEW OF THE FUNCTIONING OF RESEARCH INFRASTRUCTURE IN THE SCANDINAVIAN COUNTRIES: RECOMMENDATIONS FOR UKRAINE<\/strong><\/p>\n

Abstract.<\/strong> Research infrastructures account for a large part of research investments, they are transforming, becoming more diverse, playing a key role in supporting and developing research in all scientific fields. They are also important in supporting research aimed at solving complex socio-technical problems, political, environmental and other types of issues. Optimizing their organization, sustainability and impact has become a priority for research and scientific research, the main goal of which is to determine the key advantages, tools and management of all elements of research infrastructures.
\nThe countries of the Scandinavian region, including Norway, Sweden, Iceland, Denmark and Finland, traditionally act as one of the most united and cohesive territorial units in the world at the beginning of the 21st Century. Their cooperation in various vectors and areas of interaction has demonstrated high dynamics and effectiveness for many years, each time confirming the importance of working together to achieve these goals.
\nScientific and innovative cooperation in the region, the foundations of which are formed, in particular, on the creation, use and management of common innovative tools, systems and mechanisms, is consolidated through the development and implementation of common objects \u2014 research infrastructures. Numerous multidisciplinary organizations \u2014 regional associations and branches of international initiatives in the Scandinavian countries \u2014 testify to the right path chosen by the leadership of these states in the field of innovation, science and technology.
\nExperience and practical developments, primarily in the context of regulatory consolidation in the research infrastructure sector, can be useful to Ukraine, which seeks to expand its scientific cooperation through cross-border projects and consolidate its own influence and leadership role in the region.<\/p>\n
