METHODOLOGY FOR ORGANIZING AND CONDUCTING HYBRID CONFERENCES USING AN ONLINE ENVIRONMENT

Abstract. The article discusses methodological approaches to organizing and conducting conferences in a hybrid format (combining offline and online participation) based on the use of modern web platforms. The relevance of the study is due to the inability to hold conferences in safe conditions, which has challenged organizers to ensure equal participation of both audiences. Popular web conferencing platforms were analyzed and compared based on key criteria: reliability and stability, interface convenience, security level, scalability (maximum number of participants), integration capabilities, and cost. The technical aspects of implementing a hybrid event are presented, including equipment requirements (cameras, microphones, sound systems), streaming settings, synchronization of online and offline participants, technical support during the event, and the availability of backup communication channels. Based on the results of the study, recommendations are provided on choosing the optimal technical stack for hybrid conferences depending on the scale and needs of the event. The importance of thorough preparation was noted: testing equipment, training moderators, conducting rehearsals, and providing backup technical resources. The conclusions emphasize that the right choice of platform and technical support for the hybrid format can ensure effective interaction between participants regardless of the form of their participation, expand the conference audience, and increase its overall effectiveness.
